Enjoy our lockdown garden in Coxwold!

- 10 May 2020 -

In these strange times we may not have any guests enjoying a holiday in Coxwold – but that hasn’t stopped us gardening! With deliveries from Castle Howard garden centre and plants from The Greengrocer in Thirsk, the garden is looking fabulous right now and should do so right through to the Autumn.

Such a shame no one else can currently enjoy our garden in Coxwold, so we thought we would share some photos. We have noticed an increase in wildlife visiting, particularly birds. We feel so sad for anyone who does not have a garden to enjoy as it really is a great way to make the best of the current lockdown. Even weeding seems fun!

Hopefully we will see some of you up here in the North York Moors once we are allowed to open our lovely holiday cottage or boutique shepherd’s hut again – and we feel it is safe to do so. Until then, please stay safe and enjoy these photos…

When the North York Moors is open for business again, there are lots of fabulous garden to enjoy including Shandy Hall and Newburgh Priory in Coxwold and famous Walled Garden in nearby Helmsley.
