Autumn colour in our Coxwold gardens

- 26 September 2018 -

Here at Coxwold, in the North Yorks Moors national park where our self catering Holiday Cottage is located, there is still a lot of colour in the garden. Although we inherited a lovely garden with mature planting when we moved to Coxwold in North Yorkshire, Carol has been hard at work replanting and making improvements all summer for the enjoyment of our guests and visitors to Coxwold Cottages. We are still seeing the benefits of the work done in Spring and Summer, ensuring there is Autumn colour in our Coxwold garden.

To make our Holiday Cottage the perfect location to visit whichever season you visit, we are just about to plant spring bulbs which we noticed were lacking from the garden previously – also some wonderful Dutch Allium bulbs. This week I have also been busy repainting a very long wooden garden seat – in between cutting hedges and making sure there are smart strips in the lawn!

Come along and see for yourself when you stay in Coxwold this Autumn. With the first signs of leaves changing colour, this really is a magical time to visit North Yorkshire. It may be cooler outside but with central heating throughout the cottage and underfloor heating in the bathroom, you can be sure of a cosy country cottage welcome whenever you return to our luxury self-catering accommodation. And when winter arrives there is also an open fire to enjoy! See you soon!
