Coxwold is a perfect YouTube location

Coxwold is a perfect YouTube location. This is probably because, at Coxwold inside the North York Moors national park, we are lucky to have so many interesting places to visit

I have been looking at YouTube to find some fascinating footage showing just some of the many wonderful heritage places to visit right on the doorstep of our luxury self-catering cottage:

Coxwold Church with its Mouseman pews, octagonal tower and fabulous monuments;

Newburgh Priory where Cromwell’s body may be resting;

Lawrence Sterne’s quirky Shandy Hall where he wrote Tristram Shandy;

the evocative ruins of Byland Abbey;

and, overlooking Coxwold, the famous White Horse carved into Sutton Bank.

All these are on our doorstep in the North York Moors national park between York, Harrogate and Helmsley. Here are the YouTube links…enjoy, and they stay in a luxury self-catering holiday cottage with Coxwold Cottages to see for yourself!

There are many other places you can visit as well – not just heritage but also great shopping and wonderful landscapes, all within the North York Moors national park.
